There has been an amazing breakthrough discovery in the natural beauty world this year... and maybe you’ve heard of it already! It’s called Bakuchiol extract and it’s derived from the Babchi Seed plant, and it’s been studied and PROVEN to give the same results as RETINOL but without the harmful side effects as retinol, as chemical retinol thins skin, can irritate and dry out skin, cause damage to internal organs, and damages skin over time. Retinol is also not safe during pregnancy. And can only be used on and off. Whereas Bakuchiol has no harmful side effects, can be used during pregnancy, is safe for sensitive skin, and provides the same results! What results are we talking about? Well pretty much everything! It took me months of research to find the exact Bakuchiol extract that I was looking for. It’s rare and hard to find and extremely pricey. But finally I found it! So excited!

The thing that makes Bakuchiol so effective is it’s rich Vitamin A content. This prompts the skin to naturally shed to reveal brighter, healthier skin. So I also used vitamin A rich carrier oils to help boost this process, like Rosehip, Cacay, Carrot Tissue, Buriti and Fig Seed. These oils are also effective at brightening, regenerating, and stimulating cell renewal. These are precious oils and I only use the most potent organic unrefined varieties that come from sustainable sources.

On top of that, I infused the carrier oils with herbs that brighten skin, promote collagen production, and repair and nourish skin. These herbs include hibiscus, marshmallow root, horsetail, Rose, mulberry, gotu kola, and licorice Root. 

Last but not least, I used the most precious and most potent naturally anti-aging (I hate that term... shall we say radiance enhancing?) essential oils! Immortelle (Helichrysum) essential oil is one of the best ones out there for evening skin tone, reducing scars, and minimizing fine lines. Sandalwood is so grounding, and elevating,  and brightens skin and keeps skin hydrated and glowing. Frangipani is a precious tropical oil that is extremely soothing to skin and spirit. It also keeps skin looking supple and radiant. And of course Frankincense for its firming and toning properties. 

Apply the serum after washing with a natural cleanser, and toning. This is to be applied BEFORE moisturizer. Massage into skin using upward strokes, and send love to yourself while doing so.
